Gwenpool's Unbelievable Christmas (a.k.a. the Gwenpool Holiday Special For Real This Time)

Gwenpool is with her teammates Mega Tony, the Terrible Eye, and Batroc the Leaper in their portable villain base. She is surprised to see Galactus on television advertising Christmas products and then is even more surprised when her teammates inform her that Galactus is a regular staple of Christmas in the Earth-616 universe but that no one knows what he really looks like because he is a mystical being who brings gifts. They proceed to tell her about other holiday traditions in their universe such as Pantsgiving where people give each other short pants, the Night of Skrulls where people break piñatas to try and find a chocolate skrull inside, and the Feast of Fish where people eat fish in late December after remembering a time in 1942 when Namor brought fish at Christmas to hungry people. Gwen's surprise turns to suspicion when she remembers that she was in the Marvel Universe last Christmas it did not have these strange traditions. Her teammates find all of her regular Christmas traditions funny when she mentions them and Gwen eventually sneaks off and heads towards the North Pole when she hears one of their holiday carol lyrics mention that people should "stay away from the North Pole."

At the end of the issue, after *Happy Hydra Holidays*, the Gwenpool story picks up again. Gwen has ridden her way on a snowmobile into the North Pole. She defeats eldritch monsters and makes it to the house of Santa Claus) where she confronts him to explain the holidays have been messed up. Santa admits that Christmas being re-written is his fault because he used his magic to temporarily write himself out of the holiday in order to take a break for one year. Other cosmic energies filled the gap leading to changes such as Galactus now being the Santa equivalent. However, Santa is surprised to learn from Gwen that other holidays such as Thanksgiving and Hannukah have been affected and he agrees to change things back. He offers Gwen a chance to contact her family back in her home universe but she uncomfortably declines. Later, Gwen is shown celebrating Christmas in its normal form with her fellow M.O.K.O.K. mercenaries.
