Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

O'Deadly Darkseid

In New Genesis, High-Father links with the Source again and it writes that others must follow Orion to war. Lightray asks to join Orion, but High-Father refuses because of Lightray's youth.

On Earth, Orion, alongside the formerly captive humans, confronts Darkseid about him breaking the peace by kidnapping humans of Earth. Darkseid dismisses Orion and gets Brola to attack Orion. As Orion defeats Brola, Darkseid escapes.

In one of the secret bases established beneath the city, Brola and Darkseid teleport into the base using the Tele-Ray. Darkseid sends Brola away to recover and Desaad presents Darkseid with the Fear Machine. They will use the machine to instill fear in human minds, to further their search for the Anti-Life Equation, which gives the ability to control all free will.

Orion presents the four humans with a Mother Box and uses it to show them a vision of Darkseid's invasion, the Deep Six, Mantis, and the Wild Area until the Mother Box detects an invisible beam causing fear in the city. Orion destroys the Fear Machine, which was hidden in a billboard, using the Astro-Force.

Back at their base, Darkseid finds no trace of the Anti-Life Equation after their use of the Fear Machine.
