Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
Graded population
CGC records 177 graded copies for New Gods #9 (1972). Population is the number recorded by this grading source, not the total print run or all surviving copies.
The Bug!
Forager, a member of New Genesis's insect-people population, is charged by the Prime One just before the latter is sacrificed to find Orion, in hopes that he can mediate between the Eternals (the "new gods") and the Colony. But the Colony is usurped by Mantis, who intends to bring them to Earth as the foes of Orion and Lightray.
