Biography
Richard Donner is an American film director and producer. Among his many credits are director of 1978's "Superman: The Movie" starring Christopher Reeve, and original director of "Superman II" from 1980. A re-edited version of the latter, adhering closer to Donner's original vision, was released in 2006. Donner also served as executive producer of "X-Men" in 2000 and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009.
