Tara Butters is a producer and writer, known for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Reaper (2007) and Emergence (2019). She frequently works with fellow writer/producer Michele Fazekas. In comics, they are known for their work on Marvel's Captain Marvel titles. She is married to Marc Guggenheim.
