Overview
The Asylum planet was a mental institution for the most hopelessly neurotic specimens of some fifty loosely confederated planets in its sector of the galaxy. Being a very progressive institution, its chief caretakers allowed their patients to structure their own society, which turned to resemble Earth, circa 1980 or so.
