Overview
The Chicxulub crater at the northwestern point of the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico was formed by the impact of an asteroid 65-66 million years ago. The cloud of dust and carbon gases that resulted is thought by some scientists to have caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. The time-traveling tyrant Kang the Conqueror took a younger version of himself back 65 million years to one year before the event, he intended to hone him into a warlord.
