Overview
Emerald Cinema was a movie theater in Verdigris, Kansas. The villain Scarecrow used the theater to force the townspeople to watch their greatest fears on a movie screen so he could constantly feed on their fear. This resulted in some of the townspeople dying from fright. Reports of the townspeople going missing drew Bruce Banner to Verdigris to investigate. Scarecrow invited him into Emerald Cinema and fed off his greatest fear: the Hulk would destroy everything. Banner died but then resurrected as he transformed into the Hulk.
