Overview
The Liber Amsterdam was a priceless ancient tome in the possession of Stephen Strange. The book described ancient buildings in New York City that influenced mystical harmonics. Molly, a college student who had had an elusive relationship with Dr. Strange, asked to borrow the book for her thesis and he granted it to her. Back home, Tyson, a young wizard envious of Dr. Strange, distracted Molly and secretly placed a coin inside the book, so that once Molly returned the book to Strange, Tyson could sneak inside of the Sanctum Sanctorum.
