Overview
The North American Union is a Technocracy encompassing the entire North American continent, one of seven incorporated nation-states that make up the world. It came into being after the United States dissolved in 1969, abolishing its democratic system in the process. Beginning in 1969, the Union was led by technocrats Howard Stark and Obadiah Stane, who controlled the nation through their weapons manufacturing company, Stane/Stark Industries. Following the Maker's entrapment in the City in 2023, control of the nation was discreetly transferred to the Hulk, Henri Dugarry, and Emmanuel Da Costa.
