Overview
Paradise Island was a secluded island in the Atlantic Ocean that housed a secret research facility operated by the anti-mutant organization the Right. After securing the release of the disgraced scientist Dr. Frederick Animus, the Right established him on the island to develop a means of eliminating mutant powers.
