Crime-Master attempted to have his henchmen steal the S.R.D., so he could use it to break down vault doors, open armored vans, and more. However, the theft was prevented by Spider-Man, who was at E.S.U. in the guise of Peter Parker visiting the University to decide whether to choose it as a college to continue his studies, who defeated Crime-Master's henchmen. Then the Green Goblin took advantage of the fight between Spider-Man and the thugs and attempted to steal the S.R.D. himself, but Spider-Man again opposed the Goblin, stopping the theft attempt.Untold Tales of Spider-Man Vol 1 25
