Overview
Turango was a town in Colorado, and the hometown of radiation expert Dr. Frye. His experiments in Gamma Radiation led Frye to inadvertedly mutate and seemingly kill his son Del. Dr. Frye covered the cause of Del's death, so when he was buried without precautions at Green Peak Cemetery, his body started leaking Gamma Radiation. As mourners visited the cemetery, they were infected with Gamma sickness, and died as well, spreading a phenomenon the locals dubbed a "Chain of Grief."
