Six Years Ago (2024) After Black Manta escapes, Aquaman (Jackson Hyde) and Aquawoman (Andy Curry) are left wounded in the sea. After awakening, Jackson upsets Andy, causing her to accidentally use her powers to control marine life, which she considers wrong. After Jackson consoles her, they are transported through something called the Confluence to another world's ocean. Jackson and Andy are trapped, being transported to seven different worlds, until they encounter the Great Beast, who captures Andy. Jackson tries to save her, but Andy cuts off her leg, which he was holding on to, forcing him to escape the monster and leave Andy. Now (2030) On Neptune, Jackson Hyde tries to escape imprisonment. As the Neptunians capture him, he sees the words "Aquawoman Lives" on the surface of the sea. The Neptunians interrogate him. Jackson explains that, now knowing that Andy is alive, he has regained much of his power and breaks the Neptunian bonds that were made for a weaker version of him. Jackson faces the Neptunian army.
