Conner uses his tactile telekinesis force fields to deflect the Khund warship's blasts, destroying five of them. He launches himself at General Brutak's flagship and destroys its main gun to the amazement of the rescued clones, Pira and Rotur-Za. However, Brutak reveals his secret weapon: a shipbreaker missile which he launches directky at the Ripper. Conner chases the missile and tries to stop it, but can't reach it in time; fortunately Travv is able to destroy it with his technopathy. The Cosmoteers drop the rescued clones off at the planet Zolgaria where Travv tries to give an inspiring speech to them, but they are more interested in praising Superboy for his heroism. Travv is resentful of this but the others point out that Conner's people skills and charisma would be useful. They jet off and Conner says he's glad to be with them, as Earth had gotten "too crowded", but that being with them feels like his earliest days as a hero. Pira suggests he's trying to recapture his glory days rather than find a new direction, but after a moment's hesitation, Conner denies this. Over the next two weeks, Superboy and the Cosmoteers travel around the galaxy, defeating Dominator X's monsters and rescuing enslaved clones. They give each clone they save a ring. For bringing this trouble onto the Dominator Empire, Dominator X is exiled to the "unknown sectors". Furious at what he considers the overlord's lack of vision, he combines all the DNA samples he has gathered to create a super-clone called Infinity. On one of Dominator X's outposts, Travv and Superboy free two child clones and leave X's henchmen tied up for the Green Lantern Corps to collect. Conner asks Travv why he is so hostile towards him and Travv explains that he is a Daxamite, but Dominator X altered his DNA to prevent his powers forming, as a vulnerability to lead would make him ineffective as a technopath; as such he is jealous of Conner's powers and the life he had on Earth. However, he says he is glad to have Conner's help and they shake hands. They get a call from Pira saying the planet Decidia is under attack. Travv tells Superboy to get himself and the kids to the Ripper, and that he will wait behind and follow when the Green Lanterns pick up the henchmen. After Conner leaves, the henchmen tell Travv they know that the rings he gave the kids are actually dangerous and tell him to let them go or they will tell Superboy what they know, but Travv murders them instead. The Ripper lands on Decidia to find they are too late, the planet has been razed and everyone is dead. Conner says it is time to end things and heads into the ship. When he is gone, Travv lands in a ship he stole from the outpost and tells them that they have freed enough clones and it is "time". Meanwhile Kelex calls Conner and tells him the others are worried, but Conenr says he's not coming home yet; Kelex also tells him there's no record of the Lanterns arresting anyone on Adrondo and Conner asks him to follow up. He goes outside and finds Travv with the others. He tells Conner they need to take the fight to Dominator X and Conner agrees, but asks him why he left Adrondo before the Lanterns picked up the goons and why he has bloodstains on him. Travv tries to deflect his questions, when suddenly Pira and Rotur-Za drop down, the victims of some unknown force. On Adrondo, Green Lantern Dal Tornan finds the remains of the henchmen Travv killed, and alerts all Lanterns nearby that the Cosmoteers are wanted for murder.
