In Washington D.C., a father takes his son to see the Lincoln Memorial. Without warning, an army of Amazon warriors appears in the National Mall and approaches the steps. One of the Amazons attacks the man, cutting his head off with her sword. One group of Amazons invades the White House. They kill two secret service men and storm the oval office. Black Lightning arrives and saves the life of President Jonathan Horne. At the Smithsonian, Queen Hippolyta surveys the invasion. She consults with the sorceress, Circe. At the Department of Metahumans Affairs, Everyman apprehends Sarge Steel and takes his position as deputy administrator. "Steel" consults with Batman on a monitor screen.
