Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 2 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

| Writer6_1 = Alfred Bester | Penciler6_1 = Paul Reinman | Inker6_1 = Paul Reinman | StoryTitle6 = Green Lantern: "The Human Key" | Synopsis6 = Locksley Smith was someone with not only an uncanny ability to open any lock or safe but an irresistible compulsion to do so. Which got him fired when he unwittingly opened his boss's office safe right in front of the man. He's picked up by the police for jaywalking afterward, and with no money or job to pay his fine is put in jail for the night instead. Within minutes he's not only freed himself but Bigpig Bickford and his mob, who were all due to go on trial the next day. Naturally, the criminals drag Locksley along with him when they make their getaway. Doiby goes to Locksley's house to look into him but, ironically, finds himself locked in. Green Lantern trails the gang to the safe where the criminals locked up their guns, which Locksley opens against his will. The hero attacks until he's bopped on the head by one of the crooks with a wooden club.

Bigpig takes Locksley to a boat with diving equipment and plans to have Locksley open the vault on a sunken gold freighter in the harbor. Green Lantern dives after them, protected by his ring, but Bigpig threatens his captive to keep the hero at bay. The getaway car crashes into a fire hydrant while they try to escape and makes the gangsters easy prey for Green Lantern. He gets Locksley Smith a new job at the interstate canal, as there's no safes to accidentally open. There are, however, gigantic locks, which Locksley can't resist opening and creating maritime havoc. Green Lantern thinks he'd better find the man another job in a hurry. | Appearing6 = **Featured Characters:** *Green Lantern) **Supporting Characters:** * Doiby Dickles) **Antagonists:** * Judge Jeffreys * Officer Clancy * "BigPig" Bickford * Mike **Other Characters:** * Locksley Smith * Baby Jane * Mr. Roxon * Jim **Locations:** * Gotham City **Items:** * Green Sky-Rocket **Vehicles:** * Goitrude
