Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 4 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

Welcome To Pluto

The story begins in 1993 by showing muscle builder Bruto winning a body building competition. Bruto is a cruel and callous man as seen when a disable child tries asking Bruto for his autograph, in response Bruto kicked the kid to the ground and destroyed his autograph book. Also when a professor bumped into him Bruto lifted the professor up and threw him like a ragdoll, after which Bruto said how he hates intellectuals and how they waste time reading and flying off to other planets to study alien culture, seeing the whole thing a huge waste of time.

Later that night he is seen working out when a Plutonian appears in his house and explains to Bruto that Emperor Groot of Pluto created a Mr. Universe contest. Intrigued Bruto follows the alien into his ship to take part in said contest. After the ride they land in the royal palace where Bruto is led into a dome shaped arena. It was at this moment Bruto quickly realized it was not a body builder contest but a battle to the death as upon entering the arena he was attacked by "Mr. Mars" who Bruto ended up killing. Bruto made short work of the other contestants as well including: Mr. Saturn, Mr. Mercury, Mr. Jupiter, and Mr. Uranus. After the competition Emperor Groot declared Bruto the victor and told his men to prepare Bruto for the banquet. Bruto was pleased with himself as he was being pampered but learned too late that Emperor Groot was planning to eat him as Bruto was put into the imperial roasting oven.
