Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

Master Trap of the Matter Master!
Mark Mandrill) remains in prison following his defeat at the hands of the Justice League of America). Using his alchemical knowledge, Mandrill creates a miniature Mentachem Wand and mentally summons his original Mentachem Wand and uses it to break out of prison. His headquarters re-established, Mandrill is determined to get revenge against his original foe, Hawkman). The wand can now store the properties of different elements that it comes into contact with (for example, exposure to lightning allows it to fire lightning bolts) and he uses it to commit a number of bold and fantastic robberies. This puts his old foes Hawkman and Hawkgirl) on his tail, but the Matter Master allows them to find his secret hideout.
There he traps the two-winged heroes in a giant diamond, and makes it shrink, hoping to crush them both. However, somehow the two heroes shrink. So instead of being crushed, they are shrunken down in size and end up on the micro-world of Erewhane.
There they save one of the world's natives, Halostan, from both a giant beast and a spray of toxic gas from the planet's surface. The Hawks learn that the land is endangered by a tyrant named Tobolon, who threatens to use Halostan's creation, the Energy-Caster, (which was originally intended to help feed people) to send the world's floating cities to the ground and die in the toxic gas.
With the help of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, the people overthrow Tobolon, and as thanks they take them back to the diamond and seal them in. At that moment, Matter Master makes the diamond grow back to a normal size to collect it. Unaware that Hawkman and Hawkgirl survived, Matter Master does not see the two miniature, winged wonders escape from the diamond. The Hawks use their small stature to their advantage and defeat the Matter Master, stripping him of his Mentachem Wand which they deliver to Thanagar for analysis. Hawkman's Justice League of America) colleague The Atom) comes to their rescue, and using Thanagarian science creates a new White Dwarf Star Lens that restores them to their original size, without exploding.
The Atom, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl reveal their true identities, having become friends.
