Homeworld

The Micronauts sit aboard Endeavor II orbiting the mostly destroyed Homeworld as they wait for the ship to reconfigure and power up for travel. The Micronauts are distressed about abandoning Homeworld without a proper sendoff but are unable to find the necessary words. They each seek out personal meditations as they wait for the ship to power up.

Biotron and Microtron discuss their inability to sympathize with the complex emotions and seek out the help of each of the Micronauts to help define the emotional feeling behind certain words.

Biotron comes to the meditating Acroyear and asks him to define "love". Acroyear tells Biotron a story of his life as crown prince of Spartak. His father demands he marry the Lady Cilicia but Acroyear rebuffs him as he loves another woman. Cilicia comes to him and tells him that she’ll give up everything for his love if he’ll do the same and expresses this by shattering a crystal flower that is more prized than one’s own life.

He then seeks the definition of "fear" from Mari where she tells a story of her days as a stubborn crown princess of Homeworld. One day, her normal swordmaster is replaced by her father for her lesson. He comes at her particularly aggressively and in her overreaction, she stabs him with her sword during their duel. She fears that he is mortally wounded but he tells her that her sword was replaced with a retractable one and that she experiences fear only because she knows love.

Microtron seeks the definition of "beauty" from Bug where he tells a story of his days on Kaliklak with his teacher who tells of a creature called a Flutter of Infinite Dawn which he has never seen. Bug surprisingly comes across a dying one on their walk and throws it into the air for one last beautiful flight which brings tears of joy to his teacher’s face.

Biotron asks Huntarr for the definition of "hope" and Huntarr speaks of his time as a youth on Homeworld. He is hiding from dog soldiers who seek someone who has been committing acts of graffiti. One of the dog soldiers suggests they shouldn’t take it so seriously and eventually finds a spray can where he performs his own act of graffiti. Instead of becoming angry, the other dog solider laughs with him.

Lastly, they come to Arcturus Rann to understand the definition of "death". Rann relays a story of his days traveling the Microverse with Biotron and coming across a child playing with a skull. He confronts a woman who appears to be the child’s mother and the mother says that it is right as the skull belongs to the boy’s father before disappearing into a tree, seemingly a ghost.

After this final story, Biotron creates a poem of each topic and Micronaut. After he tells the poem, the ship is ready to leave as the Micronauts seek new beginnings. | Solicit = Beginning a new direction for the 'Nauts! You'll meet a being older than the very Microverse, and itch with anticipation at the mystery of . . . The Makers! If that's not enough, we're gonna hint at some shocking changes for Huntarr, and a brand new creative team!
