Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 8 guide observations and 1 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.
Graded population
CGC records 48 graded copies for Wolverine/Gambit: Victims #2 (1995). Population is the number recorded by this grading source, not the total print run or all surviving copies.
"In Deep"
In London, Wolverine and Gambit find themselves in a dangerous situation, surrounded by armed police officers. Before things escalate further, a woman named Martinique Jason arrives to help them escape. She claims to work for Interpol and was sent by Nick Fury to aid the mutants. Together, they engage in a car chase, trying to evade the pursuing police.
As the situation intensifies, Wolverine drives the car off a bridge into the river below, narrowly escaping the roadblock. Later, in an unknown location, they discover Martinique dead, seemingly killed by Wolverine. Confused and suspicious of their surroundings, they fall into a sewer flow and end up back where they started - but this time the corpse of Martinique is gone.
Meanwhile, the real Martinique Jason is together with the true puppet master behind the scheme: Arcade)! And she is actually carrying on the legacy of Mastermind as Martinique is the daughter of Jason Wyngarde. | Writer1_1 = Jeph Loeb | Penciler1_1 = Tim Sale | Inker1_1 = Tim Sale | Colorist1_1 = Gregory Wright | Colorist1_2 = Digital Chameleon | Letterer1_1 = Comicraft | Letterer1_2 = Richard Starkings | Editor1_1 = Mark Powers
