When all planes are on the ground, Superman hears a strange noise, and the cargo wing of the airport explodes in a terrorist attack caused by one of Cerberus' bombs. The explosion leaves a cryptic message that Superman investigates.

Clark takes his parents to his apartment and then goes to the Daily Planet, where Sam Foswell) announces they are cutting the personnel, one of the fired employees being Jimmy Olsen).
